Meet Ndubuisi Alvin Odegai
Alvin Odegai is a board -certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Graduated with a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2017. He also holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City (SOONER BOOMERS!). Alvin’s work history as a nurse practitioner has spanned over five years and includes working with diverse populations/ethnicities across the lifespan, as a tenens locums psychiatric nurse practitioner. He has indept knowledge of working with and caring for the LGBTQ population. In this capacity, he has clinically managed patients with various anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance abuse disorders, psychotic disorders, and depression. Alvin believes in working with the patient, to come up with a personalized treatment plan that is best and sustainable, using evidenced based treatment practices. He has a passion for working with patients struggling with mood disorders and ADHD/ADD across the lifespan.

Meet Avelyn P. Riley - DNP
Dr. Avelyn P. Riley (DNP) is a highly accomplished and dedicated Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. With a passion for mental health care and a drive to make a positive impact on the lives of her patients and community. Dr. Riley went on to pursue further education and achieved a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health from a renowned educational institution. Her doctoral research focused on Chronic Pain Management following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and improving access to mental health care in underserved communities.
Throughout her career, which spans over 16 years in the medical field, Dr. Riley has gained invaluable experience working in various clinical and acute care settings, including medical hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, and outpatient clinics. Her expertise lies in collaborating with great minds in the field, and conducting thorough psychiatric assessments, formulating accurate diagnoses, and developing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each individual's unique needs.
Dr. Riley is known for her compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. She believes in establishing a strong therapeutic alliance with her patients, promoting open communication, and empowering them to actively participate in their own treatment
journeys. By providing accurate information about mental health conditions, common symptoms, and available treatments, she helps individuals recognize the importance of seeking help and understanding that mental health is an integral part of overall well-being.
Within her clinical practice, Dr. Riley creates a safe and non-judgmental environment where individuals feel comfortable seeking help.
